  Always get compassionate, straight answers and superb, unrushed service. Dr. Burge is most dedicated Avian vet I've ever taken my birds to.

  Extremely knowledgeable about birds of all types and sizes. It's located in a house like structure. You can get medical care from a vet with 30 years of experience caring for birds. They also have birds of all types to adopt as well as bird accessories and bird cages. I highly recommend them

  Why can't Vets for dogs & cats be as patient and explain the diagnosis in a way I can understand like Dr. Burge does. And now its been a few months since Dr. Burge helped me with my beloved Pepin the Parakeet. We did put him to rest but with Dr. Burge this was by far the most peaceful feelings afterwards i ever felt having to step in & make that choice with other pets. Never Easy ! But wasn't as painful with Dr. Burge.

  The burge bird rescue has the up most qualified staff and Julie took such great care of my Piper. Takes time to explain in depth what the issues are and what avenue to take for your bird. I love the fact that she is a teaching facility. Keep up the fantastic work you do for each and every feather baby you treat. We are truly lucky to have you serving the Kc and surrounding area. I will continue to drive 3 hrs to take my birds to the most professional avian vet. Thank you Julie for all your service.
